I like to use toys to inspire movement ideas. Here each dancer leads one movement to the center and back. The whole group follows “loosely” as we say. Sometimes all kids have the same toys (balls, rags, plates), but here we all have a different item. We learn how we can adjust our moves depending on the toy.
There is a whole section about TOYS on the blog http://www.muve.com/blog/dancing-games-with-toys-and-concepts-for-group-exercise-and-fun/
MUVE Dancing Games are great group activities for kids, adults and seniors. And teens and young adults dig these dance activity ideas as well. Check it out here http://www.muve.com/blog/young-muve/
Find out about the MUVE Curriculum (CSPAP – Comprehensive School Physical Activity Program) which you can use for FREE with the help of our website http://www.MUVE.com. This curriculum is also applicable for adults and seniors. MUVE is truly a multi-generational exercise. All ages or skill levels can have fun together, everyone adjusting the improvised dance moves to their own needs.
